Torch-on Roofing Felt System.

We offer a 2 layer or a 3 layer system dependant on your requirements.

Torch-applied bitumen felt base layer is applied to a bitumen primed roof deck using a gas roofers torch that bonds the layers of felt seamlessly together finishing off with a mineral cap sheet of varying colours.

Torch-applied is the most common type of felting system used as it’s easier and faster to install.

The first process is to establish the condition of the roof deck as there can be serious problems if water has been leaking through the roof causing untold damage to the structure and integrity of the roof deck. This may include taking a core sample for clarity.
